THE IDAHO BOTANICAL GARDEN’S NEW SITE IS IN BLOOM
“Carew Co. has absolutely set a new standard of website excellence in our industry. We could not have asked for a better experience with this massive re-design. We now have a smart, multi-functional website that reflects our colorful, fun, and forever-growing Garden. There are many behind the scene programming features that make the front-end easier than ever to operate. I would highly recommend Carew Co for your website services.”
—Corey King, Marketing & Communication Director
A lot has changed in the eight years since the Idaho Botanical Garden last revamped its website. Its Outlaw Field Summer Concert Series has grown in ambition and size and now regularly attract thousands of eager music lovers. The garden itself has partnered with the BLM to help restore the Birds of Prey National Conservation Area, opened the Treehouses in the Children’s Adventure Garden, increased membership, and smashed attendance records.
It was time for a new site that is as responsive and ambitious as the garden itself — and as visually delightful, too.
The website we created under the leadership of Carew Co vet Thomas Walsh is lovely, intuitive, and can be used on mobile devices — an absolute must as membership and attendance grows.
The visuals are clean and feature gorgeous photos of the attractions that draw people to the garden in the first place: dazzling colors, family events, art, and education opportunities for all ages. Content has been consolidated to core features and events, such as weddings and concerts, while providing gentle prompts about support and membership opportunities. An FAQ page serves as a handy guide to additional information.
It’s much easier to find information quickly, too, which was important to the garden’s staff and board. We boosted the site’s keyword search to make it easier for users to interact and discover what they need in seconds.
We’re really proud of this one. It was our privilege to work with such a respected and beloved part of the Treasure Valley.
